European Social Charter - Committee of Independent Experts - Fifth report on certain provisions of the Charter which have not been accepted (1998)

In this report, the Committee of Independent Experts set up a detailed analysis on national reports of Contracting Parties of the European Social Charter on non-accepted provisions of the Charter in order to bring light the factors which hinder the acceptance of those standards and to contribute to encouraging new acceptances of the provision considered.
This fifth report concerns the current law and practice in the field covered by Article 4 para.4 (reasonable period of notice for termination of employment) in Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Luxembourg and Turkey.
